Here in the Midwest, the Great Lakes have historically had bipartisan support, but now NOAA and EPA Great Lakes offices are being threatened. Ask you elected officials what they are doing to protect our largest source of fresh water.

Make it clear how these actions are directly impacting their constituents and key issues they care about. Make it personal.

5. And yes, call your members of Congress (and governors and local officials). Attend town halls. Show up to their local offices.
Do your research - keep track of how they are voting. are they up for reelection? In a competitive seat? On relevant committees or in leadership?
