A really slow year (years, honestly) has left me feeling more than a bit invisible and lost in this business. So I'd like to take a moment to reintroduce myself, remind you I'm here, and show you what I do.

Tatjana Wood was also the regular colourist on Animal Man a little later and look how she adjusts the way she uses colour depending on which artist she's colouring as well.

(also adjusting her work to different kinds of paper after being used to newsprint!)

Tatjana Wood has apparently passed away at age 99. Her father was Jewish so during WW2 her parents sent her to the Netherlands, then NY. She studied as a dressmaker, met/married Wallace Wood and began assisting him, then pivoted to becoming one of the best colorists in comics.

General question for comic artists out there: any of ya willing to share a few of your non-colored pages for coloring practice? preferably 2 or more pages in sequential order

So sad to share that legendary colorist Tatjana Wood has passed away at the age of 99. Her pioneering painterly touch graced scores of DC & Vertigo series. She was truly one of a kind and a special friend. May her memory be a blessing.

Proof of a printers resounding defeat. It gobbled up my non-genuine ink and printed out Jill x Claire beautifully on some foncy textured ink jet paper.

All my life people have said threatening printers won't make them work. Explain this then, HA! TAKE THAT!
