I thought it could be because manga usually has mechanical fonts in Japanese, trying to get that look.

Finally created a feed for alternative comics so creators/critics/scholars/readers (anybody, basically) can have their posts show in this feed by putting the keywords or hashtags I configured for it (such as #altcomics, more info in feed's description)
