Sonic settled in at the base of the trunk, in the shade, with a deep sigh while he positioned himself to get a closer look at the bruise and where it stretched onto his inner thigh. It looked painful, but it didn’t look like it was the pain that was causing the odd fixation. Actually, to Shadow’s surprise, Sonic seemed almost… pleased by it. No, he was absolutely pleased by it, evident by how he suddenly yanked off one of his gloves and licked his bare thumb pad so he could slowly rub saliva in wet circles over that tender spot.
