I like to think about Speedtree and how it’s used across TV, film, and games so an artist doesn’t have to model/simulate an entire forest, and that’s a “yeah, obviously” use for procgen stuff

growing up I was kind of a hypocritical jackass to friends about the art they liked and I think as I got older my attitude really mellowed out and this describes how I feel pretty succinctly now
