I dunno much about "traditional" video editing, but what I do as a musician is use Reaper to edit my video's audio since it's capable of working with video files. Reaper has a ton of hyper specific custom actions to convert complex tasks into simple button presses. Maybe worth looking into?

To be fair, even though they follow that formula they are directly relevant to the plot. Shadowbringers literally bringing darkness to a world of unending light, Endwalker involves traveling to the edge of the universe, etc. I'm a fan boy though so maybe I'm coping.

I started transcribing a 9 minute prog metal song I've been working on with a buddy and I'm happy to report I've identified 12 sections in this beast (some are recurring, most contain multiple riffs). Very Opethian, hoping we can share soon but it would be nice to have real drums recorded.

Yeah, it's awesome that all the parents in Riverdale are former teen idols, like Alice from Twin Peaks, Fred Andrews from 90210, Mary Andrews from 16 candles, FP jones from Scream/The Craft. I love it. It was cool to see Madchen Amick in a show again.

Great choice! I did a Twin Peaks song back in 2024 ;) RIP to the great David Lynch, such a massive inspiration and even bigger loss for the world.

This game finally gripped me this week. I partially blame the subpar controller settings for my initial disinterest, but once I switched to mouse and keyboard I've been playing it several hours a day.

You posted this about 9 days ago so, maybe you already discovered it, but pressing the ctrl key or the Y/Triangle button on your controller shows a tactical view. I think it's a pretty decent compromise for this type of game.

Started rewatching Riverdale recently and, god, I love this show. I wish I was watching it with someone who hasn't seen it so I can drop random comments like "Yeah, I mean, he fights a bear later so thats pretty on point for his character" just to see the bewilderment on their face.
