Unrelated to quite literally anything else but it’s amazing how top surgery made me so much more comfortable with myself. I always felt like I had to cover up even if I was wearing a sports bra. Now any excuse to wear a top that lets me expose my chest down to my scar and I’m fucking taking it

I’m less than half a year away from being 4 years post op and it’s still surreal to be aware of how flat my chest is. The single best decision I ever made. It’s hard to comprehend that it’s only been 4 years.

I’ve got a bunch of Tolkien on the Kindle too. I swear. A copy of the Silm, all three lord of the rings, children of Hurin, fall of Gondolin, Beren and Luthien… Beowulf… you know… the essentials. Yet Kindle insists on shaming me every time I accidentally find myself on the home page

Those doors are closed. With or without the diagnosis. Without though I’m left fumbling for access to help I can’t receive and as an unemployed and broke adult on Medicaid I can’t even get myself diagnosed.

Every day I curse the adults around me when I was growing up for not acknowledging the problems with me.

My therapist in high school told my parents not to seek an official diagnosis of Autism because it would “close doors”

I did manage to get my brother all the way through TRoP S2 before he flew back home today. Anyway, I just got a text from him at the airport and I… sir. Where do you get your tattoo?!?

Getting my brother to watch TRoP S2E6 and I’m ready to scream at dad because he won’t fucking stop talking about what he ate yesterday while Annatar and Celebrimbor are having their little row

Plus I’m frankly just super proud of myself for branching out a bit and not just running Pikachu, Blastoise, Charizard, Venusaur, Pidgeot, and one of the Eevee’s on my team which is pretty typical for me.

(Mew is just an all time favorite and it makes me happy to be able to use it almost all game)

I had been playing Pokemon Yellow Legacy and I finished my playthrough yesterday with this as my league team.

I really love playing older Pokemon games and getting to throw secret favorites like Persian or Dewgong on the team

They did!! Not by that much though. I think the first set of the TCG came out in October ‘96 in Japan? And it hit North American stores sometime in ‘99.

As a side note because I got a bug in my bonnet over it – the remakes of Gen 1 are titled Fire Red and Leaf Green, a naming convention that makes NO sense if you don’t know the history of the original release in both Japan and internationally.

I continue to be tilted about it.

This change from Red and Green to Red and Blue is the BANE of my existence because of the localization shenanigans that happen around the character Green (internationally known as Blue)

This enhanced version of Pokemon would be the basis of the international release of the Series (Pokemon Red and Blue) utilizing Blue’s updated graphics and engine but the encounter tables of Red and Green, on September 28th, 1998 (NA)

Well. The first Pokemon games, Pokemon Red and Green were released on February 27th, 1996 followed by the mail release of the enhanced Pokemon Blue in December of that year.
