"you're not used to it." She says as she gently brushed his hand trying to get his attention. "Used these kinds of feelings."

She grinned as she raised an eyebrow staring at him. "You're looking quite dashing. Like a model or a bad boy. Which one is it?"

Now I want ice cream (she won't say that it surprised her he managed to get all shots with her and food)

"it's me." She whispered as she carefully closed the door but then she looked uncomfortable. Were they locking themselves in a safe space or were they locking themselves with the masked people.

"Mr Pettigrew." She says with a singsong voice almost. Smiling. She heard some of the comments around but ignored it, standing to reach him instead.

"you don't ever have to thank me." She says but she does stare at him with a serious expression, perhaps wondering if something had happened. "I'm here."

She stared at his face like an idiot, almost reeling flustered and nervous. Shocking.

"Thank you"

"you could have told me." She says, shaking her head as she stared at him with hurting eyes. "Instead of letting me think you were gone."

She could handle his faults, perhaps that's why she didn't even mean that he could have told her about what he did.

She tended to go to the beach alone, to just lay in the sand or stand at the shore. But lately that wasn't something she did on her own anymore.

"Hii."

"are you high?" She asked as she got a sight of him only to cover her mouth, choking a laugh. He did look funny.

She raised her eyebrow turning to stare at him amused. "Oh no, but you could do the honors if you wish."

She shakes her head as she stares at him, not knowing how to respond. She covered the phone with her hand as she spoke to him. "They aren't saying anything, just breathing in the line."

"I'm sure you know what sunglasses are, Hyland." She comments amused as she takes the lollipop to her mouth. "They were a gift."

"If I didn't know any better I would think you're insulting me." Oh he can't escape the green colours. She shrugged as she watched him amused. "You need to work on your petnames."

"of course you don't." She says avoiding his gaze as she stares at the sky. "Maybe but it's not an unfamiliar shocking feeling. It ain't new."

"yes, yes, I was just... clumsy." She says as she leaves the glass in the table, using a napkin to clean up her chin. As if the mess wasn't caused by how she looked at him.

"you certainly are, pretty eyes."

And she meant it, for her there was no one as perfect. He was. It was real, she can remind him.

You're very very handsome.

"what about them?" She asked curiously.

He always seemed to be behind a line, never quite fitting in.

"for what purpose?"

But perhaps she knew. Yet, he was wrong about that. He was all she needed, and she wanted. That was everything.

"you misunderstood me, dear darling." She says as she fixed his jacket, eyes are the level of his chest. "I plan on getting yours."

Come on, don't be so dark. We can take a few minutes break if we are not under attack.

"well, well. Someone is having a day." She says as she sat right in front of him.
