ICEblock, which allows users to alert others to the geographical location of ICE officers, is the top social networking app in the App Store right now after Karoline Leavitt condemned it from the podium yesterday.

My immediate thoughts on the most monstrous, immoral piece of legislation I’ve ever voted on in the Senate.

But I’m not done fighting. I know you aren’t either.

Circling back to the separation of powers principles covered earlier in this decision, the Executive Branch is vested with the power and is imbued with the responsibility to faithfully execute the laws which govern the governance structure of our country. The Executive Branch does not have the authority to order, organize, or implement wholesale changes to the structure and function of the agencies created by Congress. As Judge Smith in this district court recently warned when presented with the declining depth of civics education in public schools, β€œwe may choose to survive as a country by respecting our Constitution, the laws and norms of political and civic behavior, and by educating our children on civics, the rule of law, and what it really means to be an American, and what America means. Or, we may ignore these things at our and their peril.”

The Big Ugly Bill would have zero support if the 38% would stop buying the lie that the only people who are going to lose Medicaid are undocumented immigrants!

πŸ“Œ The idea that undocumented immigrants are draining Medicaid is a political talking point, not a fact.

🚨NEVER FORGET: The House is capable of stopping the bill now. It’s time to turn our attention to our house representatives. Please call 202-224-3121 & tell them to vote: No! We all must call so this bill does NOT pass.

Always true but especially true today: The only places we’re going to see meaningful progress for the next few years are state and local govts. Every local leader matters.

What scares me most isn't Stephen Miller with his vast, horrible imagination for inflicting pain on those he hates.

What scares me most is this ICE officer who is just doing his job.

It is a heartbreaking day for many, many people who worked in the broader foreign assistance, foreign policy, and journalism worlds. USAID, RFE/RL, Radio Free Asiaβ€”all illegally closed. Hundreds of State Dept employees being laid off right now. Hundreds more grants being terminated.

Aside from all the dangerous things he said today, this moment reveals his Swiss cheese of a brain. He completely misunderstands the question and turns it into a monologue about himself. Just as bad, if not worse, than any of Biden's lapses. And his toadies all just silently ignore his confusion.

It's true.

How We The People react WILL determine what and how everything plays out. We all have roles, and we aren't without power. Pressure Dems to do the right thing. (They all voted against the bill.)Yay!

Resist. Recharge. Repeat. Please don't focus on doom. See a winning outcome.

Tell Congress to #VoteNO on this reckless bill!

It sounds like reductio ad absurdum, but so did the argument that the president would be immune from prosecution if he ordered Seal Team 6 to kill his political opponents. Then the Court said yeah, actually, he can't be prosecuted for that because giving orders to the military is an official act.

If Trump then makes an example of women who tried to vote by publicly flogging 1,000 of them, is he immune from prosecution because enforcing his executive order is an "official" act? Can he pardon everyone who carries out the floggings? Seems like the Court has said "yes" to all of it.
