Shake Your Apathy - Music matters !!

Day 3 of the festival was all about bold, boundary-pushing music-here’s a photo recap of the evening performances at Monks.

Jonas Cambien’s Maca Conu delivered a brilliant performance, followed by a powerful and unforgettable performance of traditional Palestinian songs by Viva Palestina Orchestra.

Third day was special -it was a full day of celebrating bold and boundary-pushing music over two different venues

Sonic Transmissions’ 10th year anniversary happened a month ago! It was an INCREDIBLE experience and we wanted to relive some powerful moments through photos that capture the magic so here’s a recap of Day 1 with wonderful performances from Damon Locks & The Gratefuls, Karen Ng and Ben LaMar Gay!

On the 2nd day of the festival Stefan received a first ever Texas Wild Sonic Arts Award!

Awarded for outstanding contribution to the community, presented by Wild Detectives, Sonic Transmissions & Epistrophy Arts.

Maca Conu led by Belgian-born, Oslo-residing pianist, composer and improviser Jonas Cambien, features drummer Andreas Wildhagen, double-bassist Ingebrigt Håker Flaten and Danish rising-star saxophonist Signe Emmeluth.

Two days till Damon Locks graces the Draylen Mason Music Studio’s stage and for this special performance he will be joined by the improvisational quartet, The Gratefuls!
