With how crazy life has been, I forgot that I hit my 6 years sober milestone last week. Really proud of myself. What started as trying to see if i could be sober for a month, turned into 6 years. And no; it hasn’t been just as easy as that.

Fuck this and everyone who helped get things to this point. Trans rights are human rights—full stop.

At the Grand Canyon, a display discussing the forced removal of Native American communities was taken down. In Glacier National Park, materials explaining the role of climate change in shrinking glaciers were also removed.

What an incredible night! The "Kenozia": Winter Issue Release Party was packed with community, creativity, and so much local talent! From live music and panels to celebrating "Kenozia" Vol. 3 and its amazing contributors, there couldn’t have been a better first release party.

It is truly community building and we all walked away from the evening with a greater sense of community and peace. It was truly a joyful evening (and a much needed respite from the negative in the world).

This is why I created Kenozia. This is why I spend all of my free time working on this. This is what drives me. A sense of community, a love for the arts. Someone tagged my work in a check in and used something I said as a quote and then this thank you I just got. It means everything. 🥹

I just got tear gassed along with thousands of union members, many of whom had their families with them. Federal agents at the ICE facility tear gassed children. We must abolish ICE, DHS, and we must have prosecutions. I expect to see enforcement of our city code prohibiting the use of tear gas.
