After about a week here, I gotta say, this kinda feels like bird app did in the beginning. The first 5 to 6 years were like this. It's nice to be on a social media platform that doesn't encourage ragebait to keep engagement.

It's been weird without social media at all though, because I deactivated ALL my accounts. Because of that though, I missed a lot of the current events stuff that's been happening as I've effectively been off the grid.

Also, it's nice that I can be a bit more unfiltered on here. I'd been on 🐳 since mid-'07, so I've seen pretty much everything. It became really unfun after around 2016, but everything was there, so it was hard to leave.
