Why are we cheering for a pointless, performative act by someone who could have filibustered nominations or the CR and stayed silent. Now that it’s just a stunt with no actual consequence we’re supposed to be impressed? The ping pong paddles were more impactful. 🙄

The dems are constantly telling us they can’t do anything because they’re a minority, but he could have done the same stunt he’s pulling now. He could have filibustered and delayed nominees and drawn attention to the issues he’s raising now when people were actually paying attention.

I’m sorry, but he gets 0 points from me. Where was his courage two months ago? Why didn’t he block trmp’s nominees for State or Defense or Intelligence? He only gets brave after the Dem base gets fed up enough to start
rumbling about primaries. Better than never, sure, but I’m Unimpressed.
