look up Trails of Destiny. it’s a Trails ttrpg coming out this year :)

Based on what Kondo has said and the general state of the series, the next arc will probably be the last or the second last. Very unlikely that there are more than two left imo

I took a decent break after fragments and then slowly chipped away at act 2 over a couple of months.

The series gets way better after this game so stick it out if you can :)

You can transfer your Trails of Cold Steel save from ps3 or ps vita to the ps4 version of Trails of Cold Steel II

it’s probably the best Trails combat has felt to me. I really loved the old combat but this new system is so fun and refreshing

cs3/4 are very long games (and are also hit or miss for a lot of people) so this is a pretty common point to stop for a bit

I stopped for a month or two after the first 1/3rd of cs4 and it helped a lot :)

All of these pieces of media are irreplaceable to me. Thank you so much to the creators for giving me so much enjoyment and for changing my perspective on life through these incredible stories. I hope that I will be able to add more entries to this list in the future

This movie is incredibly beautiful, both artistically and thematically. I don't think I will ever be able to properly describe the emotions I felt while watching it for the first time

Frieren taught me to enjoy the time I have with my loved ones, because when they're gone it'll be too late.

The music and art of this show are absolutely phenomenal. The characters and world feel so alive and it has amazing pacing. 20 minute episodes feel like hour long movies

Clannad taught me the importance of loved ones and family.

I will almost certainly never cry as much over a piece of media as I did over Clannad. The emotions I experienced while watching this show can never be replicated

Trails into Reverie taught me that you will always be loved, even if you don't think you are, or that you're worth it.

The Trails series as a whole is one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had in games. A game story of this magnitude will very likely never happen again

Xenoblade 2 taught me to always remain positive, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable despair.

I adore the story and all of the characters in this game in a way that's impossible for me to fully explain

I love a lot of other pieces of media too, but the ones in this list feel like perfection to me. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them.

It’s worth mentioning that this list isn’t a top 5. It can have as many things as I want on it, and I think that gives it more weight

God this game looks pretty though. It’s nice to be able to look at it and imagine what Daybreak looks like since it’s in the same engine but I don’t want to watch the trailer for it because of spoilers lol

Falcom news is always awesome, happy for Ys fans. I tried a little bit of VIII but couldn’t get into it, maybe I’ll give the series another try with this one
