Isokon Gallery The Isokon Gallery is a permanent exhibition telling the remarkable story of the Isokon building, the pioneering modern apartment block opened in 1934 as an experiment in new ways of urban living.

Isokon Gallery is now open to visitors for 2025! If you missed the exhibition ‘Through a Bauhaus Lens: Edith Tudor-Hart and Isokon’ and exhibition of previously unseen 1933-34 photographs, there is still time.

This time last year we welcomed GCSE students Simona and Brianna into the studio for some valuable work experience. Simone (pictured) sharing her work, she received great guidance from the week. It was a big year for the @isokongallery.bsky.social who celebrated the 90th anniversary of the completion of the Isokon flats, the 20th anniversary since the completion of the refurbishments by Avanti Architects, and the 10th anniversary since @isokongallery.bsky.social opened!

It may be mid-January, but we still wanted to wish our BlueSky community a Happy New Year! Since our move from X, it’s been fantastic to see a growing architectural community on BlueSky, and we’re excited to see what the next year will bring!

Great to see our recent restoration works on the Grade I listed Finsbury Health Centre, the building is still as relevant as ever.
