You might be aging if you have to explain what Oregon Trail was to your nurse. The 20 somethings had no clue. Lol I told her how kids used to put in names of kids they didn't like because most did not make it on The Oregon Trail. What was that typing cat game though, the name is slipping my mind.

Had my organ tissue biopsies on Friday. Was in the hospital overnight due to some bleeding luckily it resolved. Found out someone stole my identity even though I had things frozen. 4 mo transplant follow ups today and packing because we have to move. Wish me luck. Still remembering to breathe.

There are a few reasons I am still here no matter how deep my depression gets. Amelia gave her life 2 loving me and I owe it 2her and the kind person who gave me their organs to keep going. I never want to let my nephews down. And my partner sacrificed a year 4 transplants. Things will get better<3

Sending hugs your way. My mom is dealing with health issues as well so I can relate. This past year has been 💔 on multiple levels. There is goodness still in this world among all the chaos. You'llmeet someone down the line thatwill make all thehard edges feel softer. Feel all the feels you need to.

Also, transplants are accepting well. I am out of the hospital and got out in March. Recovering has made updates more challenging.

2024 to current; I have been in a 🚗accident, had to fight wrong eviction, fractured my ankle, my dog was attacked and passed not long after, partner's identity was stolen, mom has had 3 mini strokes and been scammed, and but I am grateful for the transplants and the opportunity for more life.

Still in the hospital while a common non life threatening complication of kidney pancreas transplant gets fixed. New kidney & pancreas are thriving & I am so thankful to the donor & their family for making that difficult decision. I am gonna try & do as much good as possible after I am healed up.

Transplants went well and I am making strides in progress each day. Super thankful for pain management during this process. Getting a mystery rashes though but wanted to update everyone.

Not used to this format so I had to rewrite. But I am still in a state of grief over the loss of my beloved Amelia who was more than just an incredible service dog to me. I cannot afford another service animal at this point. I did get listed with UNOS in January so we are just waiting for the call.

Lost everything on FB contacts, friends who have passed, creative pages I ran, due to an AI glitch that mistakenly flagged my post asking friends if they would be able to donate a kidney in when I was starting dialysis.AI denied my appeal as it did not like the to raise awareness option.
