Have no internet. Relying on two bars of 5G. Rather annoyed with the guy from my ISP talking about "the flat box" to mean the modem. Don't assume your customer is an idiot, companies.

Yeah we were discussing this - a laser or something to cross at the finish could work but you can't have the slider poised ready for a whole minute at the top. Much easier in luge.

I think the luge relay is more fun - there's too long between the two sliders here!!

Yeah that is a challenge ... go back to the stuff that's on before you wake up and watch that?

Actually they've changed the rules - everyone gets a fourth run. Unsure why.

Just spend the day watching all the rest of the sport!

If I were a betting person I'd put money on a German clean sweep in Cortina at this rate. Though still hoping Hall can somehow prevent it, because I dislike clean sweeps at the Olympics; I think a maximum of two teams per country should be the rule in any sport.

But can you spell her name without having to copy-paste it every time? That would definitely be a copy-paste one for me!

The audience and the other traitors knew there was a secret traitor but not who it was.

A friend of mine absolutely loves the bike she got from the Oxford Bike Works - also raves about their customer service.

Ah thank you, I was on the verge of just Googling "Hugo barrister" to work out what set he's at and what he practises!

Cycled the Loire à Vélo in France over 11 glorious August days. Endless miles of beautiful quiet (or traffic-free) roads and gravel paths, chateaux at every turn, scenery to die for. I could have cycled on for ages.

Well, all I can say is that it's a good thing I bought two rolls of puff pastry, or else our beef wellington would have been fillet steak with mushrooms and no pastry. The first roll and transfer to baking sheet was a disaster.

Eeek I'll be thinking of that now as I try to get to sleep! (I do love my costume doll collection, they're very hard to find these days but were definitely a Thing in the 80s).

Every year I enjoy scrolling through #DuvetKnowItsChristmas from the luxury of the single bed I slept in as a teenager. No complaints, especially having seen many of this year's entries.

What would really be the implications of taking Santa Claus seriously?

I disagree - I think rowing's Olympic future is better served by having fans on the ground in LA. Being so close to other Long Beach venues means people will be able to watch rowing & then head off to, say, beach volleyball. Realistically, how many people would come to watch rowing in person in OKC?

Group of friends/former colleagues: let's do pre-Christmas drinks. How about Wednesday?

Me: *cancels editing shift to attend drinks

Group of friends: oh now we have loads of other stuff going on, let's do drinks another time.

Me: 🙄 *eyes up lost income sadly

DHB Extreme Winter gloves are the best I've found - I have small hands and they fit well, and I can still use gears etc. My feet still get cold but my fingers are warm.

The solution is in canon: 'The Man with the Golden Gun' book picks up after 'You Only Live Twice', which No Time to Die cribbed heavily from. Fleming brought him right back from the death with amnesia and severe PTSD. They could definitely crib from TMwtGG book for the answer to the conundrum.
