To the peeps that are worried about Swaxe counter, this is the damage you take from countering Rey Daus attacks

So yeah, there’s definitely a lot more balance to it

I did one counter, but I always have to remember myself that this tjing exists & I also often get the buttons wrong haha

Ahh, I also used the super satisfying focus mode finishers quite often, Swaxe has to different ones for each mode

Also, the UI made forget abt Swaxe gauge 😅

And my quest timer was so bad, I still mostly play the game like MH4U, just that I also use awesome focus mode to target head & tail better and that I use the sidesteps during the triangle attacks in Swordmode lol

So, my guy Erik said that even monsters that usually aren’t in packs in the West actually move in groups over here

So I think Rey Dau just did that really often at Gamescom. Yeah, he does have lots of attacks with his wings that probably loosen up the ground a lot. Sadly the one I did today never entered the dune areas, but I think this is what I recognized at Gamescom & was so excited about.

So, I guess the Sand Dunes completely by themselves don’t really slow you down, but in combat it happens a lot, that monsters, especially when doing attacks, loosen up the ground, which actually slows you down or makes you sink in, etc., & I think that’s what I meant at Gamescom.

Tomorrow on my 20th birthday, I’ll play Wilds demo again & can prove myself again, if my impressions I got about the sand physics are actually 100% true.

Cus yeah I only played the multiplayer demo 30 minutes and it was really hard to focus with how loud it was.

But it should actually be that way.

And it’s revealed that there are parts where the Seikret can’t go, so you’ll still have the good old classic sequences + very likely also chase Sequnces on a Seikret, where a whole pack is attacking you, but while you attempt to deliver an egg to the village

With the Seikret and whole monster packs being able to chase you, Wilds is going to have the best egg deliver quests
