Awful news: during the raid on the cannabis farm on Thursday, one worker fell 30 feet from a rooftop as he was fleeing immigration officers and was critically injured and is apparently not expected to survive. abc7.com/post/man-lif...

Meanwhile, we have DHS/Bortac chasing protesters onto public property to gas and brutalize them. Here in our own city of Portland. Last night they invaded someone's private home without a warrant. What is the council going to do?

Harmful and poor leadership from National 50501 was the real reason for leaving.

Please just know that this statement here was only written by three members. It was not run by the whole group before posting, and many organizers disagree with how this was done.

This chapter voted to leave nationals at least a week before June 14th happened. So the decision was already decided, long before tragedy struck, and for different reasons than what was listed here.

Heard back from PPB:

“… that is a PPB decision, not PBOT. We have authority to close the multi-use path & trolley tracks property (belonging to TriMet). We have done that a few times over the past couple of weeks. Any closure is temporary and done for specific reasons…” - Sgt Kevin Allen, PPB.

This is where pro-incarceration and pro-police people tell us we should send people for their own good, a place where corrections deputies can sexually abuse multiple women for months without being noticed.
