To anyone who stumbles upon this and signed my yearbooks "stay sweet" - I didn't. In fact, I am now a veritable nightmare.

I just had an epiphany. I love writing but always find it hard to write. Then I realized my problem is that I'm used to a reward system. Every aspect of my life has a tangible pay off. Work hard, get a raise. Eat well, get trim. Etc. But writing is just a thing I love. I need a brain rewire.

Has anyone else noticed that their daydreams are becoming sadder? I used to daydream about traveling and huge houses that overlooked mountains and now it's "wouldn't it be great if someone erased the IRS logs so I wouldn't have to pay taxes."
