The youth provide insight into the brilliance and courage that immigrants-both A DACA recipient & a non-DACA eligible youth- have to manage what I theorize as the "hidden injuries of undocumented status." Endless gratitude to these amazing youth #immigranted 💜🙌

I drew on my work in Chicago and Hartford working w/ immigrant students across their adolescence and my over 10 years of being an ethnographer. I have learned a great deal from youth as they navigate immigration status and social class and the "better life" they often say they came to the US for.
