A village of photos of me, when I was a puppy, on the day I came home. One photo I’m in my bed chewing a chew, another I’m on the floor with my new striped zebra soft toy (which I didn’t actually destroy for a couple of years). The next I’m laying in my back asleep like a dead bug, and the last I’m asleep in my side. I’m so cute.

Me, a dog, walking up the road wearing my blue LED collar because some of the pathways are dark and I’ve gotta be seen. I’m ahead of my human mum who is holding my lead and something caught my attention in the dark park as we walked past, so I’m looking to my left to see what it was. No idea what it was. Maybe ghosts getting ready for spooky season.

First walk in the dark of the autumn/winter season. But only because we went out late. Still plenty of daylight evening walks to go yet.

Me, a bat, I mean a dog, in a bat coat, side side in and pointedly ignoring my human mum. It is a black coat with blue wings. The wings have stars and moons in them in different colours. There is also a hood, which has white fangs on the front, big eyes, and ears. The inside of the ears match the wings.

A photo of the hood front on, because you can’t see the fangs in the other photos. The hood is stitched down so I can’t wear it, but it would be too small anyway.

Trying in new spooky coat I never asked for because I already have a built in coat, a double coat in fact, so does this now mean I’m a triple coated dog? 👀

I’m just a sad dog, watching as my friend is being walked past the house whilst I’m in the house, not being walked.

Sniffing all the smelly dog treats, and trying to get a little rub against them at the end, because I’m a dog and that’s what dogs do. The smellier the better, too.

I’ta me! I’m in this post. I ended up at the vet, not that I asked to go, and now I have to have eyedrops. 😒

Me, a dog, I mean Wolf Link, at the bottom of steps which are overgrown with various greenery. Mum says they look like ruins from the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game. There may be monsters ahead, but I also heard something from the woods alongside us, which is where I’m looking. A bird, or a Moblin, or worse, Evermean Trees, because we don’t have any fire on us. Wait, mum says what would be even, EVEN more worse, Gloom Hands.

It’s still me, Wolf Link, making my way up the overgrown steps. Just a few more steps to go before we under the murky unknown. But I’m brave. I’m the Hero of Hyrule. I am Wolf Link and I can take on anything with my teeth.

Exploring the ruins of Hyrule. What will I find at the top of these overgrown steps? The Temple of Time, a shrine, the remains of a village. Or will I find myself in a lair of the monsters who rise from Ganon’s malice? Only I, Wolf!Link is brave enough to find out.

Me, a dog, laying in the grass between my human mum’s legs, at the edge of a field. Ahead of us are a pair of crows, which look further away than they are. The one closest to us is the one my mum calls Crowley, he likes to have some of my treats.

Me, a dog, laying on my side on the grass whilst chewing a stick. Mum says I’ll get bits stuck in my teeth or get splinters, mum worries too much.

Still me, still a dog, but laying on my back now, like the dead bug mum calls me, with the stick in my mouth.

Who days that on my walks I actually have to walk. Laying on the floor stick monching counts too.

Photo of me, a dog, in my bed last night just after mum told me off for barking at cats I heard fighting outside the house. Mum says it is naughty to bark after midnight, but if the cats didn’t want me to bark at them, they shouldn’t fight after midnight. Also, I hadn’t been walked since my paw got bad Saturday evening so I had to burn some energy somehow.

I’ve been off my paws for a few days due to an infection in one of them. I couldn’t walk and slept all of Sunday under the table, so I got dragged to the vet yesterday…rude…who gave me meds and now I’m chaotic again (not my words), and can walk & jump into the window to bark at cats again.

Tempest, you are so regal. My rescue crew just roll in dirt and head butt each other. What’s your secret?

The secret is to not get caught rolling and the. Shake it out, unless you roll in something that smells, then you get found out.
