Codeunit to query Odata from source can automate this. Staging table, api page, script running externally or job queues. Which user did what as a table extension field.

Did they copy the behavior in my Edge/Chromium extension where you can resize the inspect pane, too?

I've seen this issue on-prem with languages, but SaaS would be new.

The VS Code AL extension looks at the metadata for "official" supported types. Anything that diverges from that is red underline, regardless of it compiles and runs just fine.

I've seen it do this with Python and Typescript too. It has had me second guessing myself a number of times.

I've done this, sort of. I took it a step further and had "deep research" summarize all the user complaints about the implementation of the imaginary feature in other software.

The problem with jumping on the intuitive pattern is it might contain widely-copied flaws.
