Sökträffar i KBs dagstidningsdatabas tidningar.kb.se 1940–1995, sökorden "stansoperatris" respektive "dataregistrerare". Stansoperatris är som vanligast 1965–1970 och börjar därefter avta och förekommer knappt efter 1980. Dataregistrerare dyker upp på 1960-talet men används nästan bara 1985–1990. ca 1980–1985 är ett glapp där det antagligen var någon annan term som användes – yrkesgruppen hade börjat minska men försvann inte förrän tidigt 1990-tal.
har hittat ett spännande glapp i datainmatningens begreppshistoria (typ) – vad kallades det yrke som först hette "stansoperatris" och sen blev "dataregistrerare" däremellan? Nån som har någon aning?
