small, old Little Tokyo hotel(a fantastic bargain b/c it's no-frills & simple but good) but it was always a ghost town in that era of mine, when I lived in Koreatown in LA. But I heard it was a swinging party town packed with visitors in the 1970s; was it still like that in the early 80s for you?

Sports car and Formula 1 driver Phil Hill with the MG EX181 at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 1959. The 1.5 litre engine produced 300 horsepower and with Hill in the driver's seat it set a Class F speed record of 254.91 mph.
