"It is necessary to write, if the days are not to slip emptily by. How else, indeed, to clap the net over the butterfly of the moment? for the moment passes, it is forgotten; the mood is gone; life itself is gone."

A rolling snowy landscape with a wide cleared path; people in the distance walking and skiing. The backlighting brings a surreal quality to the relief.
All white around them.

The glacier runs down steep from upper left to down right. A man, inn the left bottom corner, watches the glacier from a steel bar guarded terrace.
The immensity of the glacier.

The trunk of the tree is on the left. The crown with blue-green leaves covers the photo from left to right. Raindrops are visible in the foreground, barely distinguishable from the leaves.
Things change when looking at them differently. Raindrops do not hide the tree ; nor does the tree hide the raindrops. It's on us.

Green park area with in the middle, somewhat unsharp, a pink table-bench ; in the left bottom corner, sharp, a pink child's bike on its side ; the bike has blue tires.
An abandoned child's bike ... Hapiness or Sadness ; not knowing can be terrifying!

Autums leaves, grey and yello, lie on a weathered slatted park bench covered in green moss.
The bench, made by us, humans, is as much a part of nature as the autumn leaves lying on it.
