About twenty years ago, my boss at the time told me to break with the established views in the field of educational history and become the "Noam Chomsky of the history of education".
Well, reading the news, I'm glad I didn't become a Noam Chomsky.

Last week's #ISCE46 conference in Lille was interesting and inspiring. It was great to attend the various fascinating panels and catch up with colleagues. The online sessions may help to ease, but not stop, the inevitable post-conference blues.
See you in Athens next year! @ische-news.bsky.social
When it comes to AI, it's important to remember that 'intelligence' has a few different meanings...

I've imported most of my old tweets. Big step in leaving Twitter. Still, it's not easy to leave those who aren't here yet.

It's not a big mistake, but I don't understand how anyone (author, reviewers, editors) could have missed the spelling error. As if she were not one of the most influential feminist writers of all time.

It's interesting to see how our approach to Twitter has changed over the years. A few years ago, my dashboard would have been full of the #ische44 hashtag; now, hardly anything. (I haven't tweeted either.) What could be the reason?
