I am aware my thought may come across as vapid and without nuance, and that is absolutely true. Im not great with my words when describing what I like. In short tho, I love this movie. I love this story. And I love the effort that went into making it as profoundly touching as it was

I could not imagine the film without their score accompaniment

I would like to give the soundtrack special mention. Ensure Ushio and his team are ofcourse well regarded for their work on JJK, Devilman, and most recently Dandadan. I feel however this may be their magnum opus in terms of music serving in tandem with visuals to achieve a greater experience. Truly-

-animation was nothing short of breathtaking. Nearly moved me to tears, tho that is most likely because I was aware of how significant such a moment was and was overwhelmed by how stupendously the team managed to capture it in all its complex glory.

-to the almost ethereal soundtrack serves to not just accurately adapt the manga, but in so doing elevates the story to new heights I wasnt expecting.
Nowhere is this more standout than the infamous pool scene. The sheer emotion and impact of the score coupled with the gorgeous frame-by-frame -
