Which tablet model & make is it?

3) If you’re using windows 11, get & use Chris Titus utilities (google it) to reduce the other non-essential memory loads
4) Check for enough RAM (Win 11 = 16GB RAM)

1) check that the USB socket on the PC is at least 2.0 & directly connected, I had an issue once where my tablet would drop out irregularly because I had it in an unpowered hub - I changed it to a powered hub & it solved the issue
2) Try replacing the USB connector (might be shorting out)
