I’m going to agree to disagree here. That’s their PRIMARY responsibility. Their OTHER responsibilities include: Being a decent citizen, representing their constituency, understanding the CONSTITUTION & PUBLIC LAWS - as a premise to basic obligations leading up to service in any government positions.
