The Boob Witch and I are no longer on speaking terms after I discovered I could get by well enough in Duluth cotton bralettes. Like yes, technically that is an H cup in there and it could use more support, but it's good enough for most situations. (My kingdom for a custom-built corset, though...)

Yeah, it's not great! There are a lot of people basically just using the entire thing as an excuse to be antisemitic.

But yeah I wouldn't put it down to anything other than it's easy to find out you're Jewish and you're wearing a Magen David in your author's photo. I doubt there was any actual discourse, or if there was, it was from people discourse-rotted in exactly that way.

I just saw that, and that's essentially a copy-pasta that people seem to be sending to anyone who is Jewish. Like, I've seen other Jewish people get stuff with almost exactly that same wording and go "this is bait, actually."

There's an OC kiss event over on Tumblr and I'm using it as an excuse to draw the completely absurd pairing that only exists because the writing group I was going to kept writing evil clowns and I went "but what if an evil clown fell in love."

Granted, Dave's more a scare actor than a clown, but...

this may be the applications season where I finally Become The Joker.

I went to check whether I've read/own all four of these—and I have/do—but also, yes, they are, in fact, in order of increasing mayhem. I can corroborate that claim.

Yeah, that’s how they were doing some of the Google-funded HathiTrust scanning, at least with external shelving facility stuff at the institution I went to grad school at. If something was rare, it stayed a book; otherwise, stack of paper it was.

When they came back they were put in boxes.

The past 8 years have contained a lot of me swearing at my younger self as I discover that actually practice DOES work and I will get better just from doing a thing over and over again.

Better to have discovered this in my 30s than not at all, but man…
