A bleak day in the Yorkshire Dales, with plenty of grey skies, drizzle and a brisk wind to top it off. The perfect day for a day in the hills with the camera.

A Winters Day

Looking down the cobbled hill of Haworth on a cold wintery day, as the day breaks, lights up the sky.

Late tonight, Looking along the valley bottom, wet and windy as a steam train pauses at Haworth Station, on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.

Christmas in Haworth

Winter Falls across Hardraw Force in the Yorkshire Dales.

Comprising a single drop of 100 feet from a rocky overhang, Hardraw Force is claimed to be England's highest unbroken waterfall overground.

'It's Grim Up North...'

The Cottages at the end of Mastiles Lane dwarfed by the overhanging limestone Crag in Kilnsey as the storm drenched the area.

At the end of the day, a lone tree is silhouetted on the hillside above the village of Haworth by the late afternoon winter sunset.

A very long day, finished off with a late night, arriving home to be greeted by this lit up view of Bradford.
