I didn't even plan to be a childrens' book illustrator, but they wanted a #deaf illustrator for this project specifically - and I'm so glad I did it.
It was a rewarding experience that I'm very happy to finally see in real physical book form! 😍

I can't pretend that the (temp) title for this one didn't come first and I then worked out the illustration concept to go with it!
But if you're looking for a retro vampire cover then this premade might be just right.

I keep seeing authors getting duped by AI users pretending to be artists (and then sadly realising it when everyone calls their book AI slop).
These grifters are everywhere and I don't have a solution, but I have a few pointers:
