Years ago a biologist friend was tasked to manage a crowd of twitchers at a rare bird event in BC. The crowd was so aggressive and out of control that he eventually found it dead from blunt force trauma

Just saw the Taiga Flycatcher at sunset beach in Vancouver.

Once saw about twenty of them mobbing a Costa Rican Pygmy owl, they sure were noisy.
The noise and commotion was how we found the owl.
