It had been another busy day for the Pack, and Thomas had just dropped Jack off back at the yards. The young front loader had been feeling tired and overworked, but some praise from the motherly-figure, Miss Jenny, cheered him right up.

"Well we can talk to the Fat Director about it." replied Edward "Maybe he'll get another engine."

Back in the early days of the Skarloey Railway, Duncan was overworked with non-stop trains. Freight here, passengers there, even a couple of mixed-trains too! He would look so dirty as a result with not one ounce of a single break, making him very cross.

The Duke and Duchess of Boxford had bought a locomotive called Carnaby, he has been on static display in an abandoned halt for a while. Now rescued, Carnaby is tearing with joy. Spencer had gone alone to collect him, making a right from what happened with him and Hiro.

'2:45pm on the 4th of August, 1967. A super rescue by the enterprising engine that is the NWR's number three "Henry"! In this restored photograph, you can see him pushing BR 7101's passenger train, and pulling BR 199's goods train! A remarkable feat!'
