Looked at the state of hiking podcasts today and it is interesting how many have stopped being produced in the last couple of years. Once there were many and now there are few.

Been on a thrifting kick again lately. I am definitely finding Goodwill to be the crappiest place to shop. Smaller, usually church-run shops seem to fare better. Also, Goodwill had like no pre-teen sized clothes. It was all little kid stuff and not the racks of clothes I used to see. It was weird.

I have found Word is doing this, too. For common phrases as well.

And speaking of book edits: I have some accessory documents to work on, including a marketing one. I've been avoiding this as well for a few reasons (marketing: ew) but also the author photo. I don't want to take a new one. I would like to use a candid from a hike and am hoping it fly with my editor

Hence the having kids at our house thing. Anyway, I'm guessing this needs to be a public meetup first and then see how it goes. Kid friendships are so much harder to manage then when I was a kid it seems.

The one friend he has visit around once a month gets dropped off (since the beginning) and no parent has lingered to stay. Tried to invite a different friend and the parent is nervous about dropping off...which I get because I'm the same, I wouldn't drop him off at a house either!

Trying to branch out and invite other friends my kid has to our house so they can come over to play together and now I'm wondering what the ratio of parents dropping their kid off at someone's house without a worry is to parents not wanting to do that because they don't know the parents.

It's not "rebranding". It was never just a childhood condition. People learned to mask or turned their issues into addictions as adults! It was always there, even for those of us late diagnosed.

I will be upset if they have outside scenes of Fort Worth neighborhoods because they are vastly different than Frisco ones. The Frisco ones make me want to vomit.

yes! But it is spiraling into conspiracy theory really quickly and I'm seeing people who should know better falling for it.
