Yesterday got told my men's adventure novel wasn't men's adventure. Today got an email that my porn novels are eligible for Amazon Ads, even showing the covers of the books that would definitely not make it through moderation.

Their algorithms are so jacked, maybe I'll be a bestseller now.

Now I remember why my latest isn't in Expanded distribution, they don't do mass market size. I'll have to see if there's a way to do a tpb for just the Expanded market, or if I can list both

For Internet sales, it's easier to think of all online retailers as drop shippers. Bookshop shares part of their wholesale discount with bookstores. Still better for the bookstores to shop directly with them.

In possibly the dumbest thing kdp has ever done, my book Die Naked, Bitch, has been removed from the Men's Adventure category. It remains in Women's Adventure, however. All this time I figured the men meant the audience, not the character. I am fucking baffled.

Had a used bookseller do the "oh, this one is vintage" thing and mark up the price on half my purchase, but I still got one of the Child's Play novelzations for like $4.50, worth a hundred or two. Was very tempted to gloat, but I have the dignity and grace to wait and do it online years later.

Another good title in the series. Longarm is likable and sympathetic toward the Chinese being smuggled into the Pacific Northwest, but when murder starts happening left and right, he starts kicking ass.

Bounty Hunter Jake Coulter collects some bounties and beds some ladies. On the surface a generic adult western, slower paced and more repetitive than most, but I had a hard time getting a handle on this one.
