And then you have your final entrant in some kind of royale or rumble and it’s like all the top face characters who have been like defending the reputation of this official and being very respectful.

And the wrestlers they are doing it to are the heel wrestlers because as it becomes more obvious it’s easier to believe they would do it and who’s going to believe the bad guy who lies?

Guys, I’m really cooking with ideas for this gimmick. Like, he or she starts out referring these high profile matches and note frequently wrestlers are getting fined for roughing the official and it becomes a bit more obvious as times goes on.

And now I need to understand how there’s not a gimmick where a wrestler who starts out as a referee and constantly gets themselves into danger and gets paid fines and then inevitably after weeks of wrestlers realizing he is evil he debuts last in like rumble or casino royale and becomes a rich heel?

Wait, this whole time were we supposed to be under the impression that if a wrestler is fined for touching the official, that the money goes in full to the officials?!? Because I did not.
