We need a massive crack down on motorists behaviour.

People are often alarmed by the cost of an e-bike. My latest bike cost £2,799. It’s my main transport for commuting, appointments and going with my son to sports. My previous e-bike was £1,899 and lasted for 5+ years. An annual TfL travel card costs £2,100. Great value for money.

Oh man, this new bike of mine is a beast, even by Gazelle’s standards! A comfy, practical and hardworking beast. Only my second Gazelle bike, but can’t see myself getting any other make of bike ever again.

Riding up Broadwater Rd with my son tonight was not fun. Choked with cars coming the other way with little to no space left for us. #Cycleway1 makes a mockery of safe, convenient cycle infrastructure. We’ve got to do better than this @willnorman.co.uk Haringey Council, TfL and Mike Hakata!

We’re all duped by ads from time to time, but buying a £20k car under the illusion that it’s an efficient transport option in a densely populated city is wild!

The kid came from the van. Seems it was in fact a school bus without the appropriate markings.

Seems eavi are new to the market. The insurance is underwritten by Allianz. Extremely good value I reckon, especially as the £69 annual cost includes battery cover up to the value of £2k (available as an additional extra).

The driver of the van where this kid magically appeared from. At the very least, the driver should instruct them to cross behind the vehicle.

Interesting take here from a funeral procession driver. Apparently they don't have to let people cross at zebras! Who knew?

So close! There's hardly a person on Earth who'd expect that to happen! Doesn't even look like a school bus! Good thing I was going a sensible speed. Terrible judgement from the driver.

I've just insured by new Gazelle e-bike with eavi, and can thoroughly recommend them so far. Excellent value cover and friendly, helpful staff. A nearly £3k bike covered for theft, accidental damage and battery theft for £69 for a year! Too good to be true?

Yesterday at the same junction in Stamford Hill where a driver crashed into me in July. So many drivers do not understand what giving way means.

Why do we allow roads like this to exist in modern cities? Huge chasms which divide communities wherein which people walking are subjected to standing on tiny islands between roaring single occupancy cars. It's a disgrace

The trouble with building backstreet cycle routes instead of alongside busy main roads is that large numbers of people are required to cross the busy road in order to access it. Such as roads like this with no provisions for people crossing by bike. What gives @willnorman.co.uk? #Cycleway1
