The BBC has been completely ruined.

The BBC thinks this worthy of its news homepage, but I’m still not seeing much about Reform’s financial relationship with Russia. If we had a serious media we might not collectively drunkenly stagger from one idiocy to the next.

05.10.2025 13:40 — 👍 84 🔁 15 💬 3 📌 2The Tory strategy seems to be “let’s pretend we are even more unpleasant than Reform”.
Apart from that fact it won’t work, it’s pathetic to watch this insincere, hollow posturing.
Imagine living in that sort of head.
Reform will be beaten from the centre, or not at all.
Israel upping its stellar PR game still further by inviting, er, Tommy Robinson to visit.
I can’t think of any entity with poorer communications skills, with the possible exception of the time Eric Pickles objected to being kept from his lunch by the Grenfell Tower inquiry.
It’ll be all white on the night.
04.10.2025 13:36 — 👍 74 🔁 14 💬 24 📌 1There’s more coverage of Lucy Connolly’s inane, incoherent musings on the definition of racism than on Jane Goodall’s lifelong travails for humanity and the planet that sustains it.
No wonder we’re fucked.
What a peculiar response to a tragedy from Suella Braverman’s husband. Why are these people so weird.

01.10.2025 11:59 — 👍 168 🔁 16 💬 13 📌 1“We aren’t racists”, cry the party who not only invited Lucy Connolly, convicted for inciting racially motivated violence, to its conference, but interviewed her on stage, chat show style, as if she was the most heroic freedom fighter the world has ever seen.
Sod off, racists.
Political journos are all noting how surprising it is that it’s now all about Starmer v Farage, not Starmer v Badenoch.
Except it’s not surprising at all, given the very same journos have been platforming this poundshop Alf Garnett for years, when he wasn’t even an elected MP.
In other news, the Tory party is dead, so there is that.
Boris Johnson killed it.
Starmer is currently totally obliterating Reform and all its racist supporters and I hope everyone watches it.
He’s on fire. 🔥
#LabourPartyConference
This is absolutely risible from a man who has incited so much division. Trying to pretend we are on the verge of a Kirk-style assassination. It is actually disgusting.
30.09.2025 13:42 — 👍 102 🔁 22 💬 19 📌 3Not sure why we’re even debating whether Reform are racist. They literally made Lucy Connolly, convicted for urging people to burn down migrant hotels, the star of their conference.
We should call them out unapologetically for what they are: a racist party that attracts racists.
