I didn't get to learn my ancestral language as a child and I'm learning to now and it low key feels like I'm learning Elvish because of the poetry of trying to translate a concept that doesn't exist in English but exists in Cree.

I say this as someone who writes about Hollywood and entertainment for a living: People have got to stop thinking Hollywood is one monolithic mass. The creatives are a wholly different group than studio executives. The former group keeps making art despite the latter.

I wish there were more BIPOC folk talking about their experiences with autism/ADHD on the socials. Thanks to the white folks speaking about it but I really think there's a massive difference in how folk perceive autism in white kids compared to black and brown ones.

My friend Rach was going sage picking and she had room for me in her car. I haven't been sage picking in a while and it was fun to just scour the road ditches to find sage patches throughout the southern part of just outside the city.

What bothers me the most about the comments on Palestine that Bono and Larry Mullen made could apply to any Indigenous people being colonized and murdered by the white state.

As an Indigenous person, that makes me PO'd.

Well that u2 statement on Gaza apart from The Edge and Adam Clayton was incredibly disappointing. I was really surprised, saddened, and annoyed to read Larry Mullen's comments. Bono was on my shit list since his comment in his book about Africa and iphone minerals.
