The article explicitly talks about the Tory approach being the reason for the decline, they critique Starmer specifically for not making a bigger deal out of it. Seems a fair criticism to me?

Looks like you're taking that 46% specifically from the overall military strategy (defensive only), whereas there is much more disagreement between people and the government on literally all the other issues here. 50% are against use of missile bases, 21% want a condemnation of US/Israeli actions 1/

Starmer must withdraw permission for the US to use UK bases to launch airstrikes on Iran and parliament must be given a vote on any UK involvement.

Got it in one :) traditionally labour were more of a socialist party but they've moved right heavily in the past few decades.

The Greens nabbed a comfortable by-election win in Gorton & Denton (south Manchester), previously a safe labour seat. The polls looked like a tight three way race between Green/Reform/Labour, but the Greens managed a 40% win.
