yeah it's like people were more sincere and open, while social media platforms only allow us to use a limited character count so we only talk superficially now. i've found having so many posts "flop" on twitter now has helped me not overthink bc i don't expect anyone to see my art anymore haha

I'm envious of my younger self when I had so little reservations, so little shame to say what was on my mind. I now yearn to be as authentic as I was, but at the same time I fear being too perceived. I've had my trust broken a few times being online, so I have genuine fears of opening up too much.
