Interesting point. Humor can definitely be a sign of confidence or insecurity depending on the context and who's using it. I think self awareness... like being able to laugh at yourself shows strength, but not everyone sees it that way. Politics tends to amplify those differences.

I think aid is still flowing, even if the EU and NATO are leading more of the coordination. The Alaska meeting seems more like a security talk than a peace summit, which might explain the lack of Ukraine/EU at the table. Whether it’s useful or not is still up in the air.
