Truly one of the best library presentations I’ve seen in a long time. Fun but also insightful and incredibly well-researched. As a librarian I also admire how easily he used it to promote library resources. So glad I made the drive out!

Oh no! That’s an awful feeling. Most likely the attendees had no idea it wasn’t part of the plan. I’m always worried about when do I need to step back/stop because I’m always booked 6 months out. I have no idea what will be happening then

For the first time in almost 10 years of public speaking, I forgot my laptop. Not just forgot it at home, forgot I even had a virtual component of the class. Thankfully the library had one for me to use and I have a backup in the cloud, but this is not a good sign for future classes. #perimenopause

I agree! Unfortunately I don’t have one in my town and need to drive a bit. I save those for my more serious projects and rely on chains for what I use in my classes and things like amigurumi

I just bought so much yarn. No one look at me while I find new, creative places to store them in my home 🧶

Second weekend of closing sales at Joann’s. Most things are still 20% off but for yarn especially I don’t recommend waiting. Probably the most people I’ve seen here in a long time.
