Why are those people always so proud about it too. They were unable to make your own presentation, so why should we assume they know anything about the topic?

In honor of #RebuildtheGalaxy #PiecesOfThePast, I drew my favorite LEGO Star Wars character: Zander Freemaker, Superstar Pilot Guy!
(2 versions because I’m not 100% happy with the first and the second makes me laugh)
43 of these are Star Wars 😅
Another 20ish to go before I finish all of them (canon anyway)

I knew I was reading more this year but dang I’ve already read more than I did all of last year and it’s only June 😮

Truly one of the best library presentations I’ve seen in a long time. Fun but also insightful and incredibly well-researched. As a librarian I also admire how easily he used it to promote library resources. So glad I made the drive out!
01.03.2025 02:34 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Oh no! That’s an awful feeling. Most likely the attendees had no idea it wasn’t part of the plan. I’m always worried about when do I need to step back/stop because I’m always booked 6 months out. I have no idea what will be happening then
01.03.2025 02:29 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0For the first time in almost 10 years of public speaking, I forgot my laptop. Not just forgot it at home, forgot I even had a virtual component of the class. Thankfully the library had one for me to use and I have a backup in the cloud, but this is not a good sign for future classes. #perimenopause
