Internép is a placemaking experiment, a growing neighbourhood community in Budapest on Népszínház street, named after the former People’s Theatre that stood here. We are redefining "People's Theatre" as experimental ways of conviviality & collaboration.
We are one of the #EMCCINNO pilot sites, which are organisations of artistic profile in different size that test new models for ecological redirection&climate resilience. Aim is to have profound & systematised experience in new organisational models that other cultural organisations can use as well.

#KÖME has started a placemaking process in Népszínház, a street named after the former People’s Theatre in the centre of Budapest until 1965.

We had a dream: in Népszínház Street, grass breaks through the cracks in the concrete. These images were not made in our street but in Marseille, where we recently participated in the project kickoff meeting of EMCCINNO, a 3-year project to boost the cultural/creative sector for climate transition.
