Neighbors gathered in Montgomery County yesterday to talk honestly. One message really stuck with me. A person held up a sign that read:

“Helping my community and not licking the boots of the 1%.”

Cuts to Medicaid are crippling people in KY. 35 hospitals are likely going to close. More than 40,000 people didn't renew their health insurance via the state's exchange.

We need leaders in Congress who will fight like hell for affordable health care because it absolutely is a basic human right.

Last night in Woodford County was something special. Neighbors lined up along the walls. Folks sharing their stories, their frustrations, and their hopes for the future.

The momentum is real. And it’s growing because people are ready for leadership that listens first and fights without fear.

Poll shows KY voters want expanded unions, increased pay. New bills could help Kentucky lawmakers on both sides of the aisle and in both chambers have filed several bills already aimed at tackling worker issues.

New polling shows what we already know:

✔️ Voters support expanding unions
✔️ They want better job quality
✔️ They want higher pay
✔️ Affordability is their top concern

Unions built the middle class. They have our back, and I will always have theirs.
