Neighbors gathered in Montgomery County yesterday to talk honestly. One message really stuck with me. A person held up a sign that read:
βHelping my community and not licking the boots of the 1%.β
Thatβs it. Thatβs the heart of this campaign. #FliptheSixth #KY06
Central Kentucky doesnβt need a show horse. We need a workhorse. Iβve taken tough votes, built coalitions, and delivered for working families. Iβm ready to meet the moment and do the same in Congress. #KY06

Great to spend time with friends and fellow fighters at @progressky.org's Flip the Sixth event on Monday. When people come together with a shared purpose, thatβs how we win, and Iβm grateful to be in this fight with all of you.

And thank you to everyone who came out and shared your stories, your frustrations, your hopes, and your vision for where our country should go next.
Weβre building this movement the right way, face to face, county by county. #KY06
My dear friend, Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman, has always believed in showing up, listening first, and leading with heart. Thatβs exactly what she did Saturday when she joined me in Lawrenceburg for our listening tour stop. #KY06

It pulls us into open war without an exit strategy, Congressional authorization, or an explanation to us. It puts American lives at risk and repeats the worst mistakes of the past.

Last night at the University of Kentucky, I didnβt give a speech. I asked a question:
How can I best represent you?

**Alt text:** Campaign graphic titled "Historic Day for Democracy" marking the 157th anniversary of the 15th Amendment on February 27. Features a headshot of Cherlynn Stevenson alongside text noting that in 233 years of statehood, Kentucky has sent only two women to Congress, both Republicans, and no Democratic woman has ever represented the state. Text reads "Cherlynn Stevenson is running to change that. It's time." Includes hashtags #FlipTheSixth, #MountainDemocrat, #FightWithoutFear and her website cherlynnstevenson.com.
Raised by a coal miner and a teacher in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky, @cherlynnforky.bsky.social learned early that you fight for people β period. 157 years after the 15th Amendment, no Democratic woman has ever represented Kentucky in Congress. She's about to change that. cherlynnstevenson.com

This is what being a Mountain Democrat means to some of the folks who joined us last night in Bourbon County at our tour stop in Paris.
I love it all. Because being a Mountain Democrat means something to all of us, no matter where we're from. We're in this together. As one.
Cuts to Medicaid are crippling people in KY. 35 hospitals are likely going to close. More than 40,000 people didn't renew their health insurance via the state's exchange.
We need leaders in Congress who will fight like hell for affordable health care because it absolutely is a basic human right.
70% of Cherlynn's donations are under $25, from 88 Kentucky counties including every county in the 6th District. Teachers. Farmers. Veterans. Small business owners. That's grassroots. That's people-powered. That's what wins. #FlipTheSixth #GrassrootsStrong

Definitely not for working families in Central Kentucky.
71% of our donations are $25 or less. We're not taking corporate PAC money, and we're not sitting the homes of millionaires asking for donations. We're having conversations on front porches and union halls, with people who earn a paycheck.
This endorsement represents real Kentucky values. 131,000+ union members across 60+ locals know that @cherlynnforky.bsky.social will fight for working families in Congress. That's the kind of backing that comes from a proven track record. Let's go! #flipthesixth

Todayβs @kentucky.com calls the Kentucky @aflcio.org endorsement βperhaps one of the most importantβ in this race, and I couldnβt be more honored.
When more than 131,000 union members across 60+ locals stand with you, it means something. #KY06
I am incredibly honored and deeply proud to have the support of Kentuckyβs @aflcio.org union members.
Together, weβre going to flip this district and send a clear message that Kentucky workers deserve a voice in Congress.

Some folks in Washington keep fudging the numbers, the facts, and their promises. The only fudge I want is Dahlhus Fudge, around the corner from our new office! π«
Iβm running for Congress to tell it straight, fight for working people, and deliver real progress. Letβs make D.C. work for you!
There's a difference between politicians who fight for attention and ones who fight for their people. @cherlynnforky.bsky.social is the latter β a Mountain Democrat who knows exactly who she's fighting for β and it's the people of Kentucky's 6th.

For 250 years, Georgetown, KY, has been built by neighbors showing up for one another. Yesterday was about honoring that legacy and recommitting ourselves to a future rooted in unity, opportunity, and shared prosperity.
Hereβs to the next 250. π

I just wrote my first note on Substack. We're going to use that space to share what we're hearing from people at our roundtable discussions and listening tour stops across Central Kentucky.
The first one is from our stop with Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman in Richmond.

Honored to be part of @emilyslist.bsky.social #MissionMajority.
This is a moment that demands courage. And Iβm ready to meet it.
We will fight without fear, organize everywhere, and take back the House for working families.
WE have the momentum. Letβs get to work. #KY06
Last night in Woodford County was something special. Neighbors lined up along the walls. Folks sharing their stories, their frustrations, and their hopes for the future.
The momentum is real. And itβs growing because people are ready for leadership that listens first and fights without fear.
New polling shows what we already know:
βοΈ Voters support expanding unions
βοΈ They want better job quality
βοΈ They want higher pay
βοΈ Affordability is their top concern
Unions built the middle class. They have our back, and I will always have theirs.
