October is LGBTQ+ History Month, and I'm thinking about my friends in Kentucky's LGBTQ+ community who just want to live their lives without fear.

I've watched them organize their communities and refuse to be erased. Their courage keeps me in this fight.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month reminds us that early detection is critical. Don't put off that mammogram or checkup. Your health matters, and catching cancer early can make all the difference.
