he can truly be anything and i think you can convince the reader. any science based occupation is a given. surgeon? definitely. bartender, artist, mortician, retail, actor, mechanic, the guy can truly do it all as long as you make an argument that he'd care enough for more than 12 seconds

i tend to give characters the same or similar jobs in fic but xue yang is an exception and one of the most fun to me because i genuinely and truly believe he can do whatever he sets his mind and attention to, so the possibilities are ENDLESS
