i will absolutely!! i think having the financial stability and the 4 days on/ 4 days off schedule will help me plenty on catching up on my commissions and allowing me time to make art for myself :’-) i just needed to find a way to catch up without constantly having to add to the workload 😭

i’m gonna have a last chance commission sale to cover income before my new paycheck - then i’ll be closing commissions indefinitely. this new warehouse job will cover expenses so i can focus all my time on the work already in my queue and not have to take on any new work past march 🙏

going to spend this weekend doing as much art catchup as i can, then im planning to try getting into the new job by mid march. i’ll have a new schedule for when i handle commissions if things turn out well, so i’ll keep everyone updated as i make the change!

my body has been reacting pretty poorly to the month without hormones and my period has come back so im just trying to make it thru each work day with it, havent had much time to work on comm stuff.
i DID get offered an interview for this new job so… things could be changing for the better soon!

okay i just applied… praying to be there by mid march. if im able to get my financial stability back on track with this new job, i won’t have to keep adding on to my commission queue in emergency so frequently. it’ll be a lot of work but i’m gonna do my best.

and have legit boundaries around my herniated disc situation.. i’d also be making double what i make now and that would solve so many issues… it may take a second for me to make the transition but i feel like it’s a smarter avenue than what i’m trying to do now so. bear with me y’all hhhh

in the process of trying to secure a new job. i’d be working manual labour 12hrs/4 days a week at a diff warehouse but i’d have 4 days off to recover and catch up on art. they also have way more benefits and an actual HR department so i’d be able to keep up on physical therapy

in the end, im grateful that the universe knocks me down so that i can always learn new ways of befriending myself and picking the pieces back up

i lost my insurance cos i cant afford the monthly premium (it used to be free until they got rid of ucare bc of trump) so i cant get therapy or meds or my hormones rn and im tryna stay cool about it. i am struggling with this a lot so i appreciate everyone’s patience with my slow pace on work.
