I really enjoyed it this! My thoughts:

*You could devote entire shows to what went wrong with T3 and Salvation. They’re not interesting films but it is interesting that they missed the mark by so far.

*Is Cameron the most successful sequel director ever? It’s actually nuts how good he is.

Driving down the freeway and suddenly a tarp and two pallets came flying out the back of a trailer and flipped down the freeway final destination style. Cars were running into them and swerving off the road. Terrifying stuff. No one seemed hurt or anything but a very close call. Scary!

It kind of feels like the world is missing all the adults and it’s just a bunch of 12 year olds running the show.

I’m enjoying Dexter: Original Sin except for Christian Slater really not working for me as Harry. Therefore, in my head cannon, I’ve decided Harry in the original series (James Remar) is an unreliable memory of Dexter’s. His dad as stoic and wise mentor as opposed to Slater’s anxiety-ridden mess.

Scream 3 aged surprisingly well. I think I like it more these days than I did when it came out!

My brief trip to Sydney got my thinking about these fun jump rocks.
If you’ve never been it’s a nice walk from Cowan station through some gorgeous bushland.

It’s amazing how much it gets to people. I have a workmate who always brings up sharks and how dangerous they are. I’m probably a little more high risk than the average diver given my enthusiasm for shark diving but I’m still much more likely to drown.

It’s one of the few times I prefer scuba to freediving (I love both obvs). When you can see much on a dive then you find one tiny, pretty nudi and then suddenly you start spotting them all over. It’s a uniquely cool experience
