The animator posted it on the animation subreddit & someone immediately jumped in to give them very detailed advice on stuff like sending short films to film festivals. Turns out the animator already has a wee bit of experience themselves 🤭

Ooooooo! I shall have to get my smartest pyjamas laundered & order plenty of nice vegetables.

It is somewhere around a tropical 5C here at the moment. I have a wool quilt, several blankets & 2 microwaveable bear warmers around me. I could be wrong but wombats do look warm. I could definitely make space for one in our hibernation burrow.

I wish we could share some of our cold with you. Possibly in exchange for wombats.

Madame loved Del Toro's early films (especially Devil's Backbone & Pan's Labyrinth) but hasn't kept up with more recent films. Last one seen was maybe Crimson Peak. Similar to Frankenstein. Like a tour round a gothic doll's house. Missing strength of storytelling in earlier films 🤔

We have tried to watch yon Frankenstein. It is very handsome. Lots of nice costumes & that. Except. Hmmmmmmm. Characters announce things at one another. Much performance but stiff, like figures in a toy theatre. We have drifted off to look for easier entertainment.

I am watching Mr Abroad on his latest hike through rural Japan & there is much talk of bear bells to scare off my wild cousins. Jokes on them though cause I already got a bell in my ear. RAWR!

Ah! That rings a faint bell in a dusty, long avoided section of memory.
