I wrote about Throwing Muses’ 1991 album ‘The Real Ramona,’ which became a backbone for ’90s “alternative” as it came to be known.
I also took a dive into the origins of the band, particularly into a bike crash Kristin Hersh experienced at 16 and how it influenced her unconventional songwriting.

I only recently found out that one of my favourite singers, @kristinhersh.bsky.social covered my favourite Nick Drake song, "Fly" for a compilation in 2014. This is so beautiful and so real. It makes me cry.
